Michael Scott Lang was an American concert promoter, producer, and concert promoter who were best known for co-founding the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival. His name was Michael Lang.

Early Life
Michael Lang participated in four events at the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis. He has participated in field and team all-around, individual all-around, equipment all-around, and equipment and field sports competitions. Lang competed for the Forward Gymnastics Club of Cleveland. Lang was born in Germany, but his parents were naturalized, making him a naturalized citizen of the United States. Later, he made tools and worked as a machinist. Career

Lang planned her Woodstock Festival to take place at Max’s Yasgar farm in Bethel, New York, from August 15-18, 1969, along with Cornfeld and partners John P. Roberts and Joel Rosenman. In the 1970 documentary film Woodstock, Michael Lang appeared in numerous scenes: His three days of music and tranquility along with Roberts, Rosenman, and co-producers John Shear and John Shear Ozzy His Kilkenny, Lang also produced Woodstock ’94 and Woodstock ’99. Woodstock 1999 proved to be more chaotic and violent than previous events organized by Lang. In May 2014, Lang revealed his plans for 2019, which could be the 50th anniversary of his first Woodstock concert, and he said he was looking at different places. The official Woodstock 50 Festival will take place at Lang’s Glen in Watkins, New York, from August 16 to 18, 2019, Lang announced on January 9. However, the event was canceled due to three venue changes, numerous logistical issues, and financial support issues.
